Thomas Jude Billings

Thomas Jude Billings, 41, born April 11, 1981 in Lake Charles, LA, passed away in his home May 16, 2022.  T. J. was fiercely passionate about his friends.  He played baseball through his childhood years.  He went on to graduate from Gather Jesuit High School in Florida.  T. J. returned to Lake Charles to earn his welding degree.  He will always have the biggest space in the hearts of the loved ones he leaves behind.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his mother and stepfather, Angie and Bill Martin; his father, Jeffery Gauthreaux; his siblings, Amber Billings, Desi, Josh and Peter; his wife, Candice Billings; and his nanny, Pam Trim, and his Pie, Brian Arabie.  He also leaves behind his beloved friend, Ashley Murphy.

He is joined in death by his grandparents, Robert and Patricia Arabie, and Lue and Wanda Gauthreaux.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 23, 2022 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.  Msgr. Harry Greig will officiate.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, May 22 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and will continue on Monday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service at 11:00 AM.  Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
