Thomas "Kiwi" Sensat

Thomas (Kiwi) Harry Sensat, Sr., 64 of DeQuincy passed from this life Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in a local hospital.

Kiwi worked in the Oilfield and Maintenance at the Isle of Capri for many years.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  But especially spending time with his Grandkids.  He loved his Harley and all motorcycles along with shooting guns.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lance Sensat; his mother, Marjorie Thistrup; his brothers, Larry and Warren Sensat; sister-in-law Pam Cockerham.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Cody Sensat and wife Tessie of Sulphur, La and Thomas (TJ) Sensat, Jr., and wife Shelley of Holloman Air Force Base, NM; 7 Grandchildren, Abigail, AnnaBelle, Adalynn, Andrew, Alliebrooke, Olivia and Lukas; his brother Ricky Sensat and wife Joyce of DeQuincy; sister Vicki Sensat of Sulphur,  and girlfriend Melinda Hearne of DeQuincy; Nieces and nephews, Lance, LeeAnn and Ashley; two Uncles Russell Sensat of Moss Bluff and Ronnie Sensat and wife Sheryl of Moss Bluff.

Funeral Services for Kiwi will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 10AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur.  Visitation will be on Monday, July 4, 2022, from 5PM – 8PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30PM.  Visitation will continue Tuesday, July 5, 2022, beginning at 8AM until the time of the service.
