Thomas Lundy

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our charismatic and beautiful son, Thomas William Lundy on Sunday, October 24, 2021.  Thomas was born January 18,2001 to Mark and Lillian Lundy of Lake Charles, La.  Thomas graduated from Barbe High School in 2019, where he played football his freshman year, and participated in track as a pole vaulter.  Thomas was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  He had a big heart, he never met a stranger, everyone was his friend.  He loved to cook, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends and his dog, Cooper. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, William David Lundy, paternal great-grandmother, Vera E. Robbins, grandfather, David Glen Lundy, step-grandfather, Ronald Crow, and maternal grandfather, Roger Perez, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Lillian Perez Lundy, younger sister, Isabella Danielle Lundy, paternal grandparents, Jaquelyn & Bob Hennigan, great uncle Chester E. Lundy, and maternal grandmother Lydia C. Perez. And the following aunts and uncles: Paula and Michael Lundy, Shane Lundy, Lenda & Perry Vincent, and Shawn & Roger Perez, Jr.  He will also be dearly missed by his many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 29,2021 at Trinity Baptist Church. Private family interment services will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday October 28,2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Friday, October 29,2021 from 9:00 AM until the start of the service, all will be held at Trinity Baptist Church.
