Thomas Phillip Falls, 84, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana died at 1:59 PM Saturday, March 8, 2014 in a local care facility. Mr. Falls was born on June 5, 1929 in Ranger, Texas. He has lived in the Lake Charles area for the past 60 years. Mr. Falls graduated from Ranger High School in 1949. After high school Thomas served in the United States Army from 1951-1954. He worked for and retired from AT&T as a Technician. Mr. Falls was a member of First Baptist Church in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. In his spare time he loved to make things out of wood and loved carpentry work, he loved to watch western movies and spend time with his dog "Holly". Thomas is survived by one son, Micheal Falls and his wife Becky, two daughters, Tina Louviere and husband Randy, and Wanda Hatch and husband Mitch all of Moss Bluff, LA, two sisters, Inez Hunt of Arlington, TX, and Mabel Ramsey of Tyler, TX, two brothers, George Falls of Ranger, TX, and Owen Falls and wife Pat of Springtown, TX, five grandchildren, Tommy Louviere and wife Heather, Christin LaFleur and husband Andrew, Steven Falls, Amanda Partin and husband Brett, and Emily Hatch, four great grandchildren, Katie-Ann Louviere, Michael, Alex, and Jasper Falls. Mr. Falls is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Ann Falls, two sisters, Jamie Floyd and Frances Dickinson, and his parents, Etta Lou and Phillip Thomas Falls. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Merrimam Cemetery in Ranger, TX. His grandson Tommy Louviere will be the Celebrant. Visitation will begin on Monday at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.
