Thomas "Tj" John Dubose, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas TJ DuBose, Sr., 75, of Sulphur, will be held at 10am, Saturday, July 17, 2010 in Wesley Methodist Church. Rev. Peggy Foreman will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Bayou Cemetery, Rayne, La. under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, July 16th from 5pm " 9pm and resume Saturday, July 17th from 8am - until time of service. Mr. DuBose passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in a Houston hospital surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Clyde & Ila Mae DuBose; Daughter: Peggy Lynn DuBose ; Sister: Laura Ann Chadwell. Mr. DuBose was a Hot Shot Driver and owned his own business. He loved working on antique cars & was a huge Nascar Fan, Roll on Tony Stewart . He loved his family and will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Mrs. Helen DuBose, Sulphur; Son: Thomas John DuBose, Jr. & wife Diane, Katy, Tx; 2 Daughters: Janet DuBose Ponthieux, Sulphur; Kathy Bass & husband Ronnie, Nederland, Tx; 8 Grandchildren & 2 Great grandchildren; 5 Sisters: Mary Evelyn Milsaps, Houma; Dorothy Dupree, Houma; Ester Mae Thien, Inverness, Fl; Fay Thielepape, Austin, Tx; Joyce Mangum, Houma; a host of other family & friends along with his Best friend & companion, his dog Rascal . The Family would like to thank Dr. Mosier, Dr. Bloom, and the staff at Methodist & Kindred Hospital for providing excellent care during his illness.
