Timothy Carl Thompson

Timothy Carl “Tim” Thompson, 59, of Ragley passed away at 12:50 PM on Monday, May 29, 2017 in his residence.

Mr. Thompson was born on December 9, 1957 in Lake Charles.  He lived most of his life in Ragley where he was a graduate of South Beauregard High School.  Mr. Thompson began his career as an electronics technician with Welding Services, Inc. where he was currently employed.  He had previously worked for Framatome SA.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Those left to cherish his memory are a son, Joshua Johnson Thompson and his wife Delta Dawn Thompson of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Tommy Wayne Thompson (Carole) of Ragley; a sister, Paulette Fontenot (James) of Lafayette; and three grandchildren, Adam Nathaniel Thompson, Justin Johnson Thompson and Timothy Jay Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Daniel Thompson.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Ragley.  The Rev. Tim Goodly will officiate.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
