Timothy "Tim" Alexander

Timothy “Tim” Alexander, 64, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 4:15 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in a local care facility.

Born March 6, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA, Tim lived twenty years in Denver, CO before moving back to Lake Charles thirty years ago.  He worked for the IATSE Union for forty-seven years and also worked for his brother at AJT Construction.  Tim’s love for music is what drove his career working backstage at various theatres.  He also had a great love for duck hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.

Tim is survived by his son, Aaron Alexander and wife Jessica of Colorado; brother, Ken Alexander of Ragley, LA; sisters, Judith Edwards and husband Andrew of Spring, TX and Carolyn Palmore of lake Charles; three grandchildren Auriella, Izabella, and Jace; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Odelia and Orville G. Alexander, Sr.; brother, Orville Alexander, Jr.; and an infant brother, John Alexander.

His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at St. Margaret Catholic Church.  Father Marcus Johnson will officiate.  Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday at the funeral home from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
