Timothy Wayne Skero, 52 of Lake Charles La. This has been home for 35 years but he was born and raised in Houston, TX.
On Friday, August 31,2012, our beloved Timmy was called home to be with Jesus.
Words cannot describe the grief that our family is feeling right now as we cope with the loss of a person who was so much more than just a man. He was a devoted Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Father-figure, Army Veteran, Brother-in-law and Faithful Friend. Regardless, we can find solace in knowing that he is in a place now where he can truly rest in peace. The world will never know a more genuinely kind and caring, loving and unselfish man such as our Timmy and this is how he will be remembered. There will always be a void in our hearts because of such a great loss, but we are grateful for the time that we had with him and the memories we share.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Sept 8, 2012 at American Legion Post 370, 2540 Miller Ave, Westlake La. 70669 (337-436-2922). Come casual in his favorite color, blue. Family Time begins 11-12pm with friends invited from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM. A time of devotion and scripture will be conducted by Dane Hebert. Following this will be a Eulogy and some special musical performances. Food and Fellowship will follow.
II Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
