Todd Allan Peltier, 49, of Moss Bluff, LA died at 5:11 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in a local hospital.


Mr. Peltier was born May 19, 1961 in Sulphur, LA, where he lived until moving to Moss Bluff six years ago. He was a graduate of Sulphur High School and worked for Plant Specialties for a number of years. He was presently employed with Crane Energy Flow Solutions, where he was a valve and instrumentation specialist. Todd was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and loved spending time with his family, which was his pride and joy. He will always be remembered for his love for life and he never met a stranger.


Mr. Peltier is survived by his wife of twelve years, Denise Peltier of Moss Bluff; children, Darryl Wayne Peltier, Joseph Allan Peltier, Tene' Martin and husband Bear of Moss Bluff, and Dusten Borrel of Sulphur, LA; mother, Karen Smith and husband Jim of Lake Charles; father, Vaughn Peltier and wife Mary Ellen of Sulphur, LA; brother, Darryl Vaughn Peltier of Sulphur, LA; two half sisters, Danielle Wyble of Lake Charles and Michelle Berg of Maryland; sister-in-law, Pearl McCahon of Westlake, LA; and grandchildren, Tinsley and Levi Martin and Kallee, Brantley, and Alex Borrel.


He was preceded in death by his brother, Kent Lowell Peltier; a half brother, Christopher Peltier; and grandparents, C.E. Verrett, Glenna Verrett LeBlanc and J.B. and Hazel Peltier.


His memorial service will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Peggy Foreman will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
