Tommie Daigle Yentzen "Miss Tommie", 71, of Lake Charles died at 3:07 AM on Tuesday, December 09, 2014 in a local care facility. Mrs. Yentzen was born on June 10, 1943 in Converse, LA and moved to Lake Charles in 1965. She worked at the Travel Inn Motel for eight years before working at Dollar General for seven years until 2011. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing as well as cheering on the Barbe Buccaneers. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and was Conway Twitty's biggest fan. Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Thomas Flow of Houston, TX; daughter, Cheryl Belyeu Gaspard of Lake Charles; son, Jonathan Daigle of Lake Charles; her mother, Ruby Zeller of Lake Charles; a sister, Doris Almany of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Amber Fontenot, Chase Belyeu, and Madison Daigle all of Lake Charles; and three great grandchildren, Emma, Leona, and Tommie Fontenot. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Randy Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the start of the services.
