Tommie Lynn Reon, 72, of Sulphur passed away on May 14, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur. Tommie was a Scout Master of Troup 83 of Maplewood in his younger years. Tommie retired from Center Point Entergy (Entex) Natural Gas after 40 years of service as a service technician. He serviced his country in the U S Army during the Vietnam War. Tommie also enjoyed camping and fishing.
Tommie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Reon of Sulphur; his daughter, Rebecca Lynn Vincent and husband Kent of Sulphur; his son, Arnold Allen Reon of Hackberry; 7 grandchildren, Codie Lynn Reon, Justin Wade Reon, Scott Allen Yancey, Kadie Jo Reon, Megan Paige Alexander, Hope Rene’ Reon, and Alydia Marie Vincent; 2 step-grandchildren, Anna-Marie Bigham and Jennifer Barbee; 2 step great-grandsons; and 2 step great-granddaughters;2 brothers, Noah Reon of Mandeville, LA and Curtis Reon of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold James Reon and Marie Aline Portie Reon; his grandson, Britt Reon and his sister, Lena Marie Drews.
A private graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.Visits: 7
