Tonda Sue Martin

Tonda Sue Martin, 51, died at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in her Lake Charles residence.

Mrs. Martin was born October 3, 1958 in Jamestown, OH, where she lived until moving to the Lake Charles / Hackberry area eleven years ago. She worked for Carboline Paint Company as a scheduler for seventeen years. She was a member of Hackberry Temple Church, enjoyed sewing, and loved music and her pets. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grand-mawmaw and will be missed dearly.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband of seven years, Albert William Martin; sons, Levi Bittner of South Charleston, OH and Billy Dyke of Lake Charles; step-sons, Matthew W. Martin and Kameron H. Martin; brother, Dennis Schlichter of Dayton, OH; grandchild, Colton Bittner; and two loving dogs, Lucy and Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Elizabeth Schlichter and grandmother, Lucille Snyder.

Her visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Burial will be in Milledgeville / Plymoth Cemetery in Milledgeville, OH, under the direction of Powers Funeral Home, 937-675-4541.
