Tony Courville

Herbert A. “Tony” Courville, 64, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020.

Tony was born November 10, 1956 to Herbert and Nelva Courville. He was a native of Creole, LA and lived most of his life in the Lake Charles – Sulphur area. He was a graduate of Barbe High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as an operator from the Liquid Air/Big 3 industry.  He loved to fish and enjoyed watching John Wayne movies.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog, Pepper.

He was survived by his daughter, Stefanie Courville of Lake Charles, LA; his son, Brad Courville of Sulphur, LA; sister, Shelley VanderHey and husband George of Sulphur, LA; brother, Troy Courville and wife Vanessa of Lake Charles, LA; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gathering of family and friends will be at University Baptist Church on Thursday, December 10, 2020 beginning at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM.  In respect of his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
