Tony Lamar Guillory

Tony Lamar Guillory was born in Mamou, LA to the late Donald Gene Guillory and Brenda Kay Devall on September 29, 1959.

He will best be remembered as a devoted family man and husband. He was employed by McNeese State University and worked very hard to provide for them. Although he worked long hours at times, nothing brought him more joy than to come home to his family.

He always loved hunting and cooking up a good gumbo, but anyone who knew him knows how crazy he was about his motorcycle.  He was such a fun man, and could make anyone laugh. He also had such a giving nature, and would help anyone in need. 

He was welcomed into Heaven Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 62 by his devoted wife of thirty-eight years and his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory; two daughters, Lona Day (David) Shipp and Leslie Kay Guillory; four grandchildren, Dylan, Olivia, Lyric, and Sawyer; two sisters, Donna O’Connor & Amanda Deshotel; three brothers, Stacy Guillory, Paul Lebleu, and Scott Lebleu; and his mother in-law, Bertie Lois Moses.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home and family to host a private celebration of his life at a later date.
