Tony William Benoit

Tony William Benoit, 48, of Colorado Springs, CO died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Sweetwater, TX.

Mr. Benoit was born on February 25, 1963 in Lake Charles, LA and moved to Colorado 16 years ago. He was a glass glazier and enjoyed restoring cars. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Mr. Benoit also liked fishing. He always had Jesus in his heart.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy Benoit of Colorado Springs, CO; two sons, Joel Benoit of Dallas, TX and Robert Benoit of Colorado Springs, CO; a daughter, Toni Benoit also of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandsons; two brothers, John Benoit of Longville and Chad Benoit of Lake Charles; and four sisters, Alice Benoit and Pamela Savoie both of Moss Bluff; Doris Dougay of Oretta, LA, and Velvet Frericks of Bemidji, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Camella and Virdice Benoit and a sister, Empress LaFleur.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Danny Miller will officiate. Burial will be held in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of services.
