Trace Kadyn Chaisson

Trace Kadyn Chaisson, 20, of Sulphur passed away on April 26, 2023 at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX.  Trace enjoyed boat riding and late-night drives. He was a fighter until the end and accomplished so much in his 20 years. Trace attended Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and made a Teen Acts March of 2020. He also attended the Roc Church in Sulphur. Trace was loved by all who knew him and brought all of his family and friends together.

Trace is survived by his parents, R J Chaisson and wife Jessica and mother, Cassandra East; five siblings, Gayge Hodges, Kaleigh Manard, Kenzie Manard, Kassidy Manard and Tanner East; grandparents, Connie Chaisson and Susan Moore; uncle, Justin East and wife, Kambi; niece, Ember Manard; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cindy Wingate, Mark Wingate, Ronnie Chaisson, Sr. and Kermit East.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father John Welch, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4-8 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a rosary at 6 P.M. Following the rosary there will be a service with Pastor Steve Stark officiating. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, May 2 from 8 A.M. until time of leaving for the church.
