Tracy Renee Cooley

Tracy Renee Cooley, 40, of Lake Charles passed away at 11:05 AM in a local hospital.

Tracy was a native and life long resident of Lake Charles and a graduate of A. M. Barbe High School and Delta Tech, where she earned a degree in CAD. She worked for fifteen years in the computer drafting field, spending the last of her career at Polaris Engineering. She was an extremely talented artist. Tracy will always be remembered for her sharp wit and great cooking for her family and friends. She was a compassionate person who was loved by all her friends. Tracy was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, especially when it came to her granddaughter, Emberlly.

She is survived by her daughter, Allyson R. Cooley, and granddaughter, Emberlly Mullens; son, Brant J. Cooley; her mother Linda A. (Kline) Cooley and father, Russell J. Cooley; her companion, Shane Coleman; one sister, Leah Cooley Broussard and husband Jeremy; nephews, Riley and August Blu Broussard all of Lake Charles; Maternal Grandmother, Ann Kline and Paternal Grandmother, Gladys Cooley; Uncles, Mike Kline and wife Linda, and Craig Cooley.

Her memorial service will be at 6:00 PM, Monday, August 13, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 PM until time of service, Monday, in the funeral home.

The family request memorial donations to the Leesville Lions Club (Camp Pelican) in Anacoco, LA in her name.
