Troy Andrew Frick, 55, of Lake Charles died Monday July 2, 2018.
Troy was a native of Thibodeaux and longtime resident of Lake Charles. He was a 1980 graduate of Alfred M. Barbe High School and a general building contactor and owner of TAF Development, LLC. He had served several tours in Afghanistan as a Department of Defense contractor. Troy enjoyed life and always lived to the extreme. He enjoyed the environment of Southwest Louisiana; hunting, fishing and cheering on the Saints; but above all loved his family. Troy was of the Catholic faith and had recently went on an ACTS retreat.
Troy was preceded in death by a son, Ethan Frick and a stepdaughter, Thao Nguyen. He leaves to mourn his loss and share his memory his wife Lien Nguyen Frick, Lake Charles; children, Justin Frick, Lake Charles; Trista Haegele and husband Michael, Riverside, CA; Caleb Frick and Gavin Frick, both of Monroe, LA; Abigail Frick, Aidan Frick and Linzie Frick, all of Lake Charles.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM and continue until 8:00 PM on Sunday July 8, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate funeral services at 10:00 AM on Monday July 9, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery.
