Verline Fontenot

Mrs. Verline Fontenot, 84, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011. She was born in Mamou and was a resident of Lake Charles.

Mrs. Fontenot is survived by two daughters, Loretta Billedeaux and husband Reggie of Lake Charles and Glenda Frazier of Moss Bluff; two brothers, Jerry Fontenot of Mamou and Morris Fontenot of Mamou; 7 grandchildren, Wayne Frazier, Rhonda Salvador, Donna Frazier, Sherry Duhon, Penny Zaunbrecher, Barry Billedeaux, Catherine Webb: 12 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clifford Fontenot; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Fontenot; brother, Bradley Fontenot.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11AM in Johnson Funeral Home. Father Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5PM-8PM with a rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8AM until time of service.
