Vernice Fontenot Brand, 83, of Lake Charles, LA died at 7:11 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2014 in a local hospital. Her memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Glenn Viau will officiate. Private burial will be at Consolata Cemetery at a later date.
