Vickie Ann Winters

Vickie Ann Beauxis Winters, 49, of Moss Bluff, LA died in an auto accident on Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Moss Bluff, LA.

Vickie was born September 20, 1963 in Lake Charles, LA and lived all of her life in Moss Bluff. She was a big supporter of the Salvation Army. Vickie loved animals and loved living on her farm in the city, where she cared for her goats, pigs, cats and many other animals. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all.

Vickie is survived by her daughters, Tosha King and husband Rusty of Ragley and Tabitha Winters of Lake Charles; mother, Shirlene Miller; brothers, Lonnie Beauxis, and Jamie Beauxis and wife Karen, all of Lake Charles; boyfriend, Ryan Wall of Moss Bluff; father of her children, Jeff Winters of Moss Bluff; and grandchildren, Gerrett and Katelyn King.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wade Beauxis; grandparents, Gussie Beauxis, and Roy Joseph and Vera Marie Miller; and uncle, Stanley Gene Trahan.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Gary Evers will officiate. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
