Vickie Jean Dupin

Vickie Jean Miller Dupin, 63, of Lake Charles went on to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Dupin was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and has lived in Lake Charles all of her life. She was a 1969 graduate of LaGrange Senior High School. Due to her love for children she worked in the Day Care at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church for over 10 years. She had a great generosity towards people and animals. Mrs. Dupin loved plants and had a large collection at her home. She was a loving wife, sister, daughter and friend and will be missed by all that knew her. She especially loved God. She is survived by her father, Mr. Richard Gordon Miller, Sr., of Lake Charles, LA, one sister, Kathy Clark and her husband, William of Jackson, MS, two brothers, Richard Miller Jr. and Patrick Craig Miller both of Lake Charles, LA, one niece, Adrianne Hebert and husband Jude, four nephews, Kristian Clark and his wife Pam of Jackson, MS, Walker Miller of Lake Charles, LA, Jeff Miller and his wife Lauren of Lake Charles, LA, and Bradly Miller of Houston, TX. Mrs. Dupin is preceded in death by her husband, Mel Dupin and her mother, Frances Miller. Her memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Evers will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2:30 Sunday until the time of her service. In lieu of flowers please give the shirt off your back to someone in need!!!!
