Vickie Suzanne Robinson

Vickie “Suzanne” Robinson, 61, of Sulphur, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital after a long illness.  Suzanne lived in Sulphur most of her life, graduating from Sulphur High School.  She was best remembered as an instructor for drivers’ education at Parkview Baptist.  Suzanne recently retired from the Calcasieu Parish School Board as a long-time school bus driver.  Suzanne loved spending time with her grandkids and was an avid shopper.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Mike Robinson; mother, Harriett Hayes; her children, Jake Jones, Cade Jones and Jaimee Jones; her sisters, Paula Charlie and Tracey Hayes, her brothers, Rickey Hayes and Jody Hayes; and her grandkids, Mia Johnsrude, Haygen Wylie, Brenna Jones, Connor Jones and Jack Jones.  She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hayes and one son, Mikey Robinson.

Services for Suzanne will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 10 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss.  The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 5-8 PM and will resume on Tuesday from 8:30 AM until the time of services.
