Victor Carlo Sarvaunt

Victor Carlo Sarvaunt, 57, of Moss Bluff, LA, died at 6:00 AM on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in his residence.

Mr. Sarvaunt was born July 8, 1963 in Lake Charles, LA and has lived in the Lake Charles area for the past twenty-seven years. He worked as the chief engineer for a pipeline lay barge for a number of years. Victor was an excellent mechanic and would work on anything from cars, to jet skis, boats and four-wheelers. He had a heart of gold and was always helping others. He lived by the moto “Out for the needy, not the greedy.”

Mr. Sarvaunt is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Evelyn Sarvaunt; mother, Shirley Elender and husband Paul; children, Victor Carlo Smith, Erica Nicole Smith, Courtney Danielle Smith and Trinity Richard Sarvaunt; siblings, Rhonda Sarvaunt, Tyrone Sarvaunt, Clint Sarvaunt, and Angie Ezell and husband Hubert; along with six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Amos Richard Sarvaunt and a sister.

His memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. His wife, Evelyn will give the eulogy and invites others to share. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
