Victoria "Vicki" Theresa Fey Carroll

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Victoria "Vicki" Theresa Fey Carroll, 71, announces her passing from this life into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, while in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 3, 1942 and passed away on December 3, 2013 after a brief battle with terminal cancer. She was a native of Ruston, LA., graduated from St. Charles Academy and has resided in Westlake, LA. for 41 years. Vicki has been an Avon representative for the past 29 years and never met a stranger. She has a special personality and will be missed by the many who were blessed to know her and have her in their lives. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling the apple of her eye, her granddaughter and the companionship of her animals. Working in her yard, where she had a love for flowers, brought her much joy and happiness as well as riding on her Harley prior to becoming ill. Vicki is survived by her son, Arthur E. Carroll, III (Eddie) and wife Ina Gail Litteral Carroll of Westlake; daughter, Deirdre Carroll Hebert and husband David Hebert of Westlake; granddaughter, Tori Rachelle Hebert of Lake Charles; mother-in-law, Ruth L. Roswell Carroll of Westlake; brothers, Dr. William Fey, D.C. and wife Judy of DeQuincy and Stephen Fey of Iowa; sisters, Becky Guidry and husband Leslie and Mary Kay Dugas and husband Dale of DeRidder; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Don Mull and Allen McGee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Carroll, Jr. (Sparky); parents Dr. & Mrs. William (Ruth L.) Fey, Sr. M.D. of Lake Charles: and sisters, Delphine Norris of Gonzales and Sarah (Sally) Fey Johnson of Lake Charles. The family wishes to express a special word of thanks to Dr. Francis Bride & Dr. Marne De Viller as well as Amedisys Hospice, especially her dedicated nurses, Callie East and Laurelle Shirley. We express our sincere thanks to Mandy Francis and Emma Prudhomme for the special care shown and given to our loved one like she was your own family and a thanks to all other caregivers for your dedicated care. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Thursday, December 05, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Brian King will officiate. Interment will follow in Butters Cemetery in Forest Hill, LA. Visitation Wednesday will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
