Victorine Guillory

Victorine Guillory, 83, of Lake Charles died at 11:02 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013, in a local care facility.

Born in Sword, St. Landry Parish, to Lawrence and Catherine Godeaux Gobert, Sr., Mrs. Guillory lived most of her life as a homemaker in the Lake Charles area. She was a faithful member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Guillory, Jr. and his wife Winnifred of Jennings; one daughter, Catherine Guillory Miller and husband Randy, of Lake Charles; brothers, Lawrence Gobert, Jr. of Church Point, Joseph Gobert of Baton Rouge, Norris Gobert and wife Joyce of Lake Charles, Johnny Gobert and wife Lenora of Orlando, Florida, Robert Gobert and wife Dorothy of Church Point, Nebert Gobert and wife Donna of Duson, Hillary Gobert and wife Bonnie of Atlanta, Georgia, Gilbert Gobert of Dallas, Michael Gobert and Richard Gobert, both of Church Point, and Gregory Gobert and wife Vivian, also of Atlanta; and sisters, Josie Mae Guillory and husband J. C., Ophelia Leday, and Velma Marie Gallien, all of Lake Charles, and Rita Gobert and Agnes Gobert Harrel, both of Baton Rouge; and grandchildren, Troy Guillory, Todd C. Guillory, Yomika Guillory, and Alehuandro Ricardo Tomas Gloria.

Funeral services will be held 11 a. m. on Monday, January 28, 2013, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Msgr. Jace Eskind will officiate. Entombment will be at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Sunday at 5:00 PM with a rosary to be held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
