Viola Bourque

Viola L. Bourque, 95, passed away at a local hospital after an extended illness on February 21, 2018.

Mrs. Bourque leaves behind three children, Gaston Ronnie Bourque of Lake Charles, Catherine Albrecht of Dalhart, TX, and Joan Kigerl of Highlands Ranch, CO; five grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gaston Bourque; parents, Fernest and Lillie Leger; and sister, Ole Mae McBride.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 2PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018. The Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home at 5PM to 8PM on Wednesday, February 28 and will continue Thursday morning at 11AM until the start of the service. A rosary will be held at 6PM on Wednesday evening.
