Virginia Marie Jackson

Virginia Marie Jackson, 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday October 2, 2015. Virginia was a parishioner at St. Margaret's Catholic Church for 40 years and Saint John Bosco Catholic Church for 19 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Virginia loved to cook and always made sure everyone got to eat that visited her home. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memories are her 6 children; Barbara Delhommer, Francie Fogleman, Charles A. Jackson, Jr., Kathy Alley, Ginger Sonnier and Becky Gray; 1 sister, Margaret Hebert; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Jackson Sr.; parents, Felix and Marguerite Vincent Trahan; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A funeral blessing for Virginia will be conducted, 10 AM Monday October 5, 2015 at Saint Margaret's Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA with Monsignor Dubois officiating. Interment to follow, at Highland Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-8 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6 PM. Visitation will continue Monday at 9 AM at the funeral home.
