Viviana Mae Marcantel

Viviana Mae Conner Marcantel, 79, of Moss Bluff died peacefully Tuesday July 29, 2014 in the comfort of her home with her family at her side. She enjoyed cooking, family and friends, and eating crabs. Mrs. Marcantel was born September 6, 1934. She is survived by her husband Bud Marcantel; Maria Boseley (Lee Bergeron), Colton Dulplechain (Mary) and Ed Killeen (Wayne). She has 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two living brothers and two living sisters; 2 grandsons, Delton Boseley Jr. and wife Michelle and Shane and wife Monica Granger ; 3 grand daughters, Lacy Boseley and husband Billy Huckaby, Jamie Attales and husband Bob, Tonya Foy andhusband Freddie; She has 15 great grand children; Shane and wife Monica Granger; 2 brothers, Hewitt Conner, Lynn Conner and wife Joyce; 2 sisters, Shirley Mouton, Ester Mae and husband Willie. She is preceded in death by her soul mate, Culton James Duplechin Sr.; her parents, Amada and Amadia Conner; three sisters; four brothers; several nieces and nephews and her infant daughter, Shelia Duplechin; and one great grand baby. Funeral services will be at Johnson Funeral Home at 9:00 AM Friday August 1, 2014 with the Rev. Terry Ardizzone officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Burial will be in Old Ritchie Cemetery. Family would like to thank the staff and nurses from Heart of Hospicefor the great care given to our mom.
