Wanda Arabie Landreneau

March 13, 1951 — October 3, 2011

Wanda Lois Arabie Landreneau, 60, of Lake Charles, died at 10:00 AM Monday in a Lake Charles Hospital.


Mrs. Landreneau was a native and life resident of Lake Charles and a graduate of St. Charles Academy. She was a devout Catholic and a wonderful wife and mother to her husband and six children.


Mrs. Landreneau was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and worked as a receptionist at the Calcasieu Parish Health Unit for several years.


Mrs. Landreneau is survived by her husband, Terry Landreneau; three sons, Terry Landreneau and his wife Shauntel of Grand Lake, Jason Landreneau and his wife Amanda of Holmwood, and Jeff Landreneau of Lake Charles; three daughters, Laura Montgomery of Grand Lake, Darla LeBlue and her husband Terry of Moss Bluff; and Chrissy Landreneau of Virginia Beach, Virginia; eleven granddaughters; and one grandson.


She is also survived by one brother, Steven Arabie and his wife Cathy of Lake Charles; three sisters, Lynetta Beaugh and husband Anthony, Cheryl Fontenot and husband Donald both of Lake Charles and Donna Suarez and husband Richard of Holmwood.


Her parents, Jessie and Lillian Arabie as well as brothers Jessie Wayne, Buddy, and Joe Arabie, preceded her in death.


Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Christ the King Catholic Church. The Rev. Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.


Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Wednesday and from 8:00 AM until 10:30 PM on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
