Wanda Herrington

Wanda W. Herrington passed away on Saturday, March 05, 2016 in a local hospital.

She was born on April 1, 1940 in Elizabeth, LA and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles, LA. She worked thirty years as a secretary for Drs. Norman and Irene Morin. Mrs. Herrington enjoyed cross stitch and reading.

Wanda is survived by her sister, Dorothy "Dodie" Talbot of Lake Charles; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; as well as great-great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, James A. Moore and Robert L. Herrington; sister, Floy Elaine “Corky” Carlton; and her nephew, Kenneth William Talbot.

In respect of her wishes, Mrs. Herringtons's services will be a private family gathering.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday March 6, 2016, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the residence of Steve and Sharon Adams at 1185 Rue Julianna St., Moss Bluff, LA, 70611. Everyone is welcome to join them in fellowship and sharing memories and good times.
