Wanda L. Pierson

Wanda Lorene Pierson, 80, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 in a local hospital.

Miss Pierson was born in Kinder, LA, the youngest of thirteen children, to Ray and Ida Pierson. Raised in Kinder, she lived in Lafayette, Shreveport, Houston and has lived ___ years in Lake Charles. She worked forty-one years as an Accountant for United Gas Pipeline and Occidental Petroleum, having retired as Office Manager. Miss Pierson was a member of University United Methodist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Grace Francis of Springfield, MO; brother, the Rev. Raymond Pierson of Crossville, TN and sister, Eva Rauser of Lake Charles.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2012 in McRill Memorial Cemetery in Kinder, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Jones will officiate. Visitation Saturday will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
