Wanda Lee Holaday Cole, 63, of Sulphur, LA passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. Cole was born in Terre Haute, IN, raised and educated in Lake Charles and has lived the past forty years in Sulphur. She attended LaGrange High School. During her younger years, she enjoyed pottery and ceramics classes. She also enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, playing bingo and admiring the beauty of her plants. Mrs. Cole loved spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Dusty and Sissy.
Mrs. Cole will be most remembered for her positive outlook, words of encouragement and guidance.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of forty-two years, Jerry Lee Cole of Sulphur; two daughters, Angela Perez and husband Shaun of Sulphur and Jennifer Cole of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Megan Lyon of Sulphur, Trae Bowman of Indianapolis, IN, MaKenzie Lyon of Sulphur, Deven Bowman of Indianapolis, IN and two sisters, Judy Richard of Carlyss and Brenda Stinson and husband Tom of Cloverdale, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Wanda Peveler Holaday and two brothers, Luke and Jim Holaday.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Heart of Hospice team for the excellence in care and compassion.
