Wanda May Boulet

Wanda May Boulet, 90, recently of Crowley, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on November, 29, 2013. Wanda was born on November 8, 1923 to the parents of Cora and Oliver Murrell in Church Point, Louisiana. She was a 1940 graduate of Crowley High School. Wanda was a long time resident of Lake Charles. She had currently been living in Crowley for the past seven years. She was a faithful member of Gateway Church in Moss Bluff. In her spare time she loved to write and read poetry. Mrs. Boulet was a very faithful Christian. Wanda is survived by two sisters, Joyce Morgan of Crowley, LA, and Ellender Boudreaux of Lafayette, LA, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boulet is preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Boulet Sr., three sons; Oliver , Randy and Donnie Boulet, her parents, Cora and Oliver Murrell, one sister, Mildred Meaux, two brothers, Donald and Oliver Murrell. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Broussard will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 11:00 AM until the time of services. The family wished to thank Heart of Hospice in Lafayette, Louisiana and to Cindy Broussard for all of their care and time they spent with Mrs. Boulet.
