Wanda Nell Farque

Wanda Nell Farque, 84, of Lake Charles died at 9:45 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Farque was born on October 16, 1928 in Oakdale, LA.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Debby Moore and A.W. Buddy of Broussard, LA and Kathy Savario and David of Moss Bluff; a son, Dave Richard Farque of Houston; a sister, Janice Welsh and husband Bill of Ohio; a brother, Kenneth Chelette and wife Frances of Jennings; five grandchildren, Zachary and Nicolas Savario, Zeke Champagne, Hannah Dunston, and Kaleb Champagne; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Conway Farque; a brother, Herman Chelette; and a sister, Katherine Chelette.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will follow in Sallier Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
