Warren Edward Wade

June 9, 1949 — February 25, 2014

Warren E. Wade, 64, died suddenly Tuesday February 25, 2014 at his residence in Sulphur, LA. A native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Warren was a High School golden gloves state champion and a member of 1967 Fulton High School undefeated football team. He was a founding member of the Oak Ridge Boy's club and also a High School certified umpire and referee as well as a boxing coach. Following his education, Warren enlisted in the United States Marine Marines and veteran of Vietnam. While his career was in sales, he loved to be anywhere near water and was an avid fisherman and loved his family very dearly. He is survived by sons, Marcus O. Wade, (Penny); Jason Wade, (Juanita); 3 grandchildren, Brilyn Wade, Kollison Wade and Sara Wade; two brothers, Jimmie Wade and John Wade. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Wade and mother, Helen Vandergriff Wade. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM on Saturday March 1, 2014 at Johnson & Robison Funeral Home, Sulphur, LA concluding with a Celebration of his life at Noon. His son, Rev. Marcus Wade will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will be at a later date in the Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee.
