Wayne Danny Daniel Stokeld

Wayne Danny Daniel Stokeld, 60, of Lake Charles, died at 10:15 Saturday, September 22, 2012 in a local hospital.

Danny was born on November 14, 1951 to the parents of Rosa and L.T Sonny Stokeld in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. Danny was cared for by his parents his entire life. He always loved to smile which brought a smile to everyone's heart. His daily TV schedule always included a morning of cartoons and the afternoon filled with Hoss Cartwright and Bonanza re-runs.

He is survived by one brother, David Stokeld and his wife Margaret of Lake Charles, LA, one sister, Linda Christian and her husband Byron of Lake Charles, LA, one nephew Chad Christian of Austin, TX, one niece, Amanda Gremillion and husband Will of Lake Charles, LA

Danny is preceded in death by his parents L.T. Sonny and Rosa Stokeld.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Father Jacob S. Conner will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday until the time of service.
