Wayne "Gator" Hill

July 5, 1951 — May 13, 2018

Wayne “Gator” Hill, 66, of Livingston, TX passed away at 1:00 AM on Sunday, May 13, 2018 in a Houston hospital.

 

Mr. Hill was born on July 5, 1951 in Seguin, TX and was raised in Lake Charles where he attended LaGrange High School before moving to Livingston more than 10 years ago. Mr. Hill was a superintendent welder for World Wide Welding.

 

He was a lifelong Harley rider and in his later years learned to enjoy the game of golf. Mr. Hill was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

 

Those left to cherish his memory are three children, Matthew Hill (Bridget) of Friendswood, TX, Zeb Hill of Westlake, and Kaley Hill of Ragley; a sister, Brownie Miller of Pasadena; five grandchildren, Roman and Hunter Hill, Hope Hill, Allie Doucet, and Megan McKinney; and his girlfriend, Carmen Watson of Livingston, TX.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and William R. Hill, Sr. and a brother, William R. “Bobby” Hill, Jr.

 

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12:00 PM until the start of the service led by family and friends.
