Webster James Todd, Jr.

Webster James Todd, Jr., 74, of Holmwood passed away Wednesday, August 07, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mr. Todd was a lifelong resident of Holmwood. A graduate of Bell City High School, Mr. Todd worked all of his life as a Rice, Soybean and Cattle farmer and was a Co-owner of Todd Brothers Trucking. He was President of Holmwood and Bell City Fire Board, on Board of Directors for Jeff Davis Electric for twenty-four years, President of Louisiana Cattlemen's Association; President of Gravity and Drainage Board for Bell City and Hayes and attained his Pilot's license from the Doug McFillin Aviation school. He also enjoyed deer and duck hunting. Mr. Todd will be most remembered for the love of his family and the time he shared with his grandchildren.

He leaves to honor his memory, Martha Plukey Bouquet Todd of Holmwood; two children, Webster James Toddy Todd III and wife Sherry of Holmwood and Jill Todd Hightower and husband Josh of Grand Lake; three grandchildren, Logan James Todd of Holmwood, Walker Todd Hightower and Dylan James Hightower of Grand Lake; one brother, Ben Todd of Holmwood and one sister, Betty Todd of Holmwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Webster James and Eva Babin Todd, Sr. and sister, Kathryn Todd Alito.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Interment will follow in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation Friday will be 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:30 PM. Visitation Saturday will continue Saturday from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.

Pallbearers for services will be Andre' Alito, Brian Todd, Paul Alito, Darin Bubba Belaire, Patrick Doland and Seth Natali.

Honorary pallbearers will Jared Todd, Steve Natali, F.J. Sylvester, David Primeaux, Emile Alito, Darrell Derouen, Blaine Harrington, Tommy Todd, Gerald Edwards and Howard Todd.
