Wilbert Duplechin

Wilbert Duplechin, 64, of Lake Charles died at 12:30 PM Saturday, February 8, 2014 at a local care facility. Wilbert Dulechin was born March 3, 1949 in Mamou, Louisiana to Wilford and Lourise Duplechin. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed being around friends and family. Mr. Duplechin enjoyed spending time at his deer lease while enjoying the outdoors. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Linda Istre Duplechin; two brothers, Jimmy and Rauley Duplechin; one sister, Grace Duplechin Fontenot; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold and Michael Duplechin; and one sister, Eloise Duplechin. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2014 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday at 8:00AM until time of service. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Deacon George Carr will officiate services.
