Wilfred Taylor

Services for Mr. Wilfred Taylor, 79, of Sulphur, La will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 9 am in the Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Johnny Mounce will officiate. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss, La. Visitation will be held Monday, July 12 from 5-9 pm with a rosary at 6 pm. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ina Taylor, his parents, Lannie and Edna Taylor, and brother, Hugh Taylor. He is survived by two sons: Allan Taylor and wife Esther; Nolan Taylor and wife Courtney; two daughters: Linda Trahan and husband Terry; Tammy McMellon and husband Kenneth Grub , all of Sulphur; sister, Ethel Kickel and husband Clarence of Carlyss; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren,; a host of other family and friends. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War in Germany. He played guitar for the Choupique Ramblers and other bands in the area for about 7 yrs.
