Wilfrid Joseph Lemieux

Wilfrid Joseph Lemieux, 82 of Holly Beach passed away on September 12, 2015 in Cove, TX. He worked and retired as a boilermaker, then worked for Seafood 2000 in the shrimp and fish industry. Wilfrid is known all over Holly Beach and other parts of Louisiana for his custom cypress furniture. Wilfrid is survived by his son, Harvey Lemieux of Laval, Canada; his step daughter, Diane Godbout; his 4 brothers, Jacques Lemieux, Nelson Lemieux, Paul Lemieux, and Claude Lemieux; his 6 sisters, Colette Morin, Jocelyne Bayno, Huguette Filion, Laurette Gourge, Victoire Bonneau and Gilberte Gagnon; numerous nieces, nephews and lots of friends in Holly Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfrid and Antoinette Lemieux, and sibling, Gilles, Philippe, and Loria Lemieux. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 7 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 10 A.M. till 8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. with the service following at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
