William "Bill" Forsythe, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. William Bill Forsythe, Jr., 93, of Sulphur, will be held at 11am, Thursday, July 8, 2010 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Burke will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 5pm " 9pm and Thursday, July 8th from 8am " until time of service. Mr. Forsythe passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 in Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Forsythe, Sr. & mother Blanche; Brother, Warren Sonny Forsythe; 2 Sisters: Joyce Goodeaux & Hazel Wakefield. Mr. Forsythe was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and retired from Conoco Oil Company. He served his Country during WWII in both the Air Force & the Army. He loved to travel the U.S. and Canada with his loving wife & was a real history buff. He was also a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Lorene Forsythe, of Sulphur Son: William Will Forsythe, III & wife Cherie, of Lake Charles Grandchild: Jennifer Lauren Forsythe, of New Orleans; Sister, Peggy & Dr. Jimmy Leeves of Naples, Texas. A host of other family & friends.
