William "Bill" Hebert

William Bill Hebert, 86 passed away on October 28, 2013 in his residence. Bill was born on August 14, 1927 to Henry and Albion Hebert in Crowley, LA. Immediately after high school, he joined the US Navy serving his country during WW II. Bill retired from Bell South Telephone Company working in sales and marketing. He loved life, reading history and watching western movies, telling stories, carpentry, and fishing. Bill was a wonderful husband, daddy and grandfather. He was also a member of the Louisiana High School Rodeo Association for several years. Bill is survived by his wife of 9 years, Shirley Hebert of Sulphur; daughters, Albion Norman and husband, Dennis of Sulphur and Cecile Marie Hebert of Lake Charles; step-sons, Derrick Sidan and Laurie, of Moss Bluff and Jason Gause and wife, Stacey of Florida; granddaughters, Cathryn Bordelon and husband, Patrick of Lake Charles, Chasta Sidan-Johns and husband, Jeff of Moss Bluff, and Lydia Sidan of Moss Bluff; great grandson, Sean Sidan-Johns; and brother, Henry Peter Hebert of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Albion Hebert and wife, Claire Louise Lewis Hebert. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Jim Winiarski officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of the service.
