William "Bill" Lebert

William (Bill) LeBert, 75, passed away at his residence on September 11, 2018.

He was born on November 19, 1942 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Horace and Catherine LeBert. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and watching the New Orleans Saints. He was kind and is said to have never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cris LeBert; children, Mia LeBert, Bobby Babin (Vicky), and Angel LeBert (Brandon); six grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Cathy LeBert Chiles (Mary LeDano) and Irene LeBert McGuire (Brian); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ann LeBert; and brother, Raymond LeBert.

His funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Burial will take place in Consolata Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday from noon until the 3 PM.
