William "Bill" Little, Sr.

William “Bill” Little, Sr., 79, of Hackberry passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with his family by his side.  Bill was a native of Hackberry and a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church where he was a lay minister.  He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.  Bill retired from Texaco after 30 plus years.  Bill loved working with and raising cattle and was a member of the Louisiana Cattleman’s Association.  His hobbies also included tinkering with things, fishing and camping.  Bill’s biggest enjoyment was his grandson, Blaine and the highlight of his life was sharing his days with him. 

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia; his daughter in law, Frances Little; his grandson, Blaine Little; his granddaughter, Jennifer Galligan; two brothers, Gene and Robert Little; and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Evie Little; his son, William Little, Jr.; and one brother, Clifford Little. 

Services for Bill will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church is Hackberry.  Burial will follow in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the church hall on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 4-9 PM with a rosary at 6 PM.
