William (Billy) Cryer

William (Billy) Cryer, 80, of Sulphur, passed away on August 18, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 10 am at Robison Funeral Home with Minister Brian Spicer officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss, LA. Visitation will begin on Sunday, August 21, 2011, from 4 pm " 8 pm at Robison Funeral Home. Billy was a native of Bossier City, Louisiana and a longtime Sulphur resident. He was a graduate of Sulphur High School. After attending McNeese State University, where he played football, he worked in construction and later as an electrician for Citgo. Billy served on the Calcasieu Parish Zoning Board for many years, was a member of the Electrician IBEW Local 851, and a member of the Church of Christ for 54 years. His enjoyment was his family, his church, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. Billy is survived by his wife, Natalie (Pam) Cryer of Sulphur; daughter, Tammy Pedersen and husband Mike of Sulphur; son, Steven Kirk Cryer and wife Stacie of Sulphur; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
