William "Bobby" Reeves, Sr.

William Robert “Bobby” Reeves, Sr., 65, of Moss Bluff, LA, passed away at 3:20 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2021in Ferris, TX.

Mr. Reeves was born July 25, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA, lived a few years in Texas and has lived in Moss Bluff since 1996.  He was a graduate of Boswell High School in Oklahoma.  He worked as a truck driver for all of his career, spending many of those years at TransWood and at Averitt for the past five years.  Mr. Reeves had a great love for his family, enjoyed golfing, fishing and all sports, especially LSU and the Dallas Cowboys.  He will be remembered for his heart of gold and the lives he has touched throughout the years.

Mr. Reeves is survived by his children, Misty Newsome of Idabel, OK, Bobby “Little Bob” Reeves, Jr. and wife Heather of Grand Lake, and Brian Reeves of Lake Charles; sister, Patsy Adair of Lake Charles; numerous grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Maloria Busby Reeves; sister, Ginger Beth Kibodeaux; and brother, Arthur Barry Reeves, Sr.

A gathering of family members and friends will be at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
