William David Lagrange

William David LaGrange, 72, of Lake Charles died at 3:02 PM in his residence with his loving family at his side. David was born in Westlake, Louisiana and has lived in the Lake Chares area most of his life. He was a 1959 graduate of LaGrange Senior High School. After high school, David enlisted with the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War. David worked for Texaco as a truck driver, he also worked for Conoco where he worked as a crane operator for many years. He loved to play golf and playing cards with friends and family in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Gwen Fogleman LaGrange of Lake Charles, LA, one son, Gerald Allen LaGrange of Lake Charles, LA, two daughters, Melanie Lynn Duhon and husband Craig and Heather Granger and husband Mike all of Sweetlake, LA, six grandchildren, Linsey LaGrange, Halie Stevens, Jodie LaGrange, Cayd Granger, Cavan Duhon, and Hope Duhon, one great granddaughter, Peyton LaGrange. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
