William Edward Frye Sr.

William Edward Frye Sr., 92 of Sulphur passed away on October 25, 2012 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Huffman officiating. Burial will be held in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss, LA under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from4-9 at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Monday at 8 a.m. until time of service. William was a native of Virginia and a long-time Sulphur resident. He served his country in the U S Navy during WWII. William worked for many years for Olin Mathison. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. William is survived by his daughter, Betty Jeffers and husband, Leon of Westlake; son, Tony Frye Jr. and wife, Patricia of Ragley; two sisters, Charlotte Martin and Shirley Troxell both of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Tom Frye and wife, Pat of Chilhowie, VA; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; two sisters, and two grandchildren.
